Yesterday was one of those days, the kind that reminds you why you started all this in the first place.
We packed up our rails of clothes, grabbed the camera and headed off to the utterly charming town of Thaxted for a photoshoot with two absolute legends: Donna (our photographer and resident ray of sunshine) and Natalie (our plus-size model and walking goddess)
And ohhh wow... what a day!
First of all, Thaxted really turned it on for us. The sun was out, the sky was basically showing off and the buildings? Colourful, quirky, and full of character – just like us. Honestly, we were spoilt for choice when it came to backdrops. Every corner was an Instagram dream. We were squealing every two seconds: “Omg let’s shoot here! Wait no, here!”
Natalie brought the magic. She was the perfect embodiment of what That’s Sooo You is all about; loving yourself exactly as you are, having fun with fashion, and absolutely OWNING it. She was carefree, radiant, totally gorgeous and an absolute laugh. She brought so much energy and joy to every shot, we couldn’t have asked for a better model!
And Donna? A total pro. She somehow managed to get the perfect angles and keep us all in fits of laughter. She just gets our brand. She captured the colour, the movement, and the realness that That’s Sooo You is all about. She made the day feel like a breeze (even though we were juggling outfit changes, accessories and the occasional honking lorry flying by!)
This shoot wasn’t just about pretty pictures (though trust us, they are stunning). It was a big moment for us – one of the final steps toward launching our shiny new website and our fresh new look. These images are going to be everywhere, on the site, in our promos… and we couldn’t be prouder.
To Donna and Natalie, thank you, you were a dream team. We can’t wait to share the pics with you all. Watch this space...exciting things are coming!
